By registering for a course, attending a session, or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions set by MedScholar Academy.
1. Enrollment
- Students must complete the official application form and submit required documents.
- Admission is confirmed only after payment is received.
- MedScholar Academy reserves the right to reject applications that do not meet program criteria.
2. Payments
- All fees are strictly non-refundable once paid.
- Students may defer their admission or transfer payment to another batch within 30 days if approved. Deferment is allowed only once and may attract an administrative fee.
- Payment receipts must be presented during registration.
3. Attendance & Code of Conduct
- Students must maintain at least 75% attendance to qualify for certification.
- All students are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, trainers, and fellow classmates at all times.
- Cheating, plagiarism, disruptive behavior, or any form of aggressive conduct will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal from the program without refund.
- Engaging in legal action or involving law enforcement against the academy without prior resolution attempts through appropriate internal channels may also lead to immediate withdrawal from the academy.
4. Certification
- Certificates are awarded only upon successful completion of course requirements (attendance, assessments, practicals).
- MedScholar reserves the right to withhold certificates for students who do not meet obligations.
- Misconduct or falsification of records may lead to dismissal without refund.
5. Intellectual Property
- All training content (manuals, videos, handouts) remains the property of MedScholar Academy.
- You may not reproduce, share, or sell course materials without written permission.
6. Class Rescheduling & Cancellations
- MedScholar Academy may reschedule classes due to public holidays, low enrolment, or emergencies.
- Students will be notified in advance and alternative dates offered.
- If a course is canceled by the Academy, students may transfer to another batch or course.
7. Testimonials & Media Use
- By attending classes/events, students grant permission to use their photos, quotes, or testimonials for educational or promotional purposes unless they opt out in writing.
8. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity
- MedScholar Academy is not liable for delays caused by technical disruptions, emergencies, or third-party service issues.
- MedScholar Academy is not liable for losses incurred due to misuse of information provided on the platform.
- Students agree to indemnify and hold MedScholar Academy harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their participation in courses or use of facilities.
9. Website Use
- You may not use the site for fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities.
- You may not copy or scrape data or course content from the site.
10. Force Majeure
- MedScholar Academy is not responsible for disruptions caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or pandemics.
11. Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, and any disputes shall be resolved within the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
12. Changes to Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued enrollment or use of our services indicates acceptance of any changes.
