Programme Structure

The 7-month programme combines classroom learning, supervised clinical experience, revision and final assessment, with structured transition periods between major phases.

Months 1–2

Classroom & Coursework

Structured theoretical and practical instruction covering the knowledge and skills required for professional nursing support and patient care.

Week 9

Transition Break

A one-week transition period between completion of classroom training and commencement of the clinical internship.

Months 3–6

Internship & Clinical Training

Four months of supervised clinical experience where students apply classroom knowledge and develop practical patient-care skills in a healthcare setting.

Week 25

Post-Internship Transition Break

A one-week transition period following completion of the clinical internship and before the final academic phase.

Revision

Scope of Practice

Clinical Training

Four Months of Supervised Clinical Experience

The programme includes a four-month supervised clinical internship designed to provide students with practical experience in a healthcare environment.

During the internship, students have the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge, develop patient-care skills and gain experience working within a professional healthcare team.

The clinical component complements the classroom phase and provides practical exposure to patient care, safety, communication and professional healthcare practices.
